Off of Rt. 2, from I-91 Exit 27, take Rt. 2E four miles.  Watch for sign on right.  Scenic mile long wooded peninsula on Connecticut River with 23 family tent sites and 2 group sites.  Nature trail features dinosaur footprints and nesting bald eagles.  Canoe/rowboat rentals, day use picnicking, showers, rec area, ice, firewood, pets, fishing.  Part of Northfield Mtn. Rec. & Env. Control - 25 miles hiking tails, mountain biking, orienteering, recreation & environmental programs, power station tours, riverboat cruises, museum.

From Jct. I-90 (Exit 8) go 3/4 mile south on Rte 32, then 5 4/10 miles East on Rte 20.  Take right onto Monson Rd.  Follow Brimfield State Park signs.  Go 2 1/2 miles on Dean Pond Rd.
